I am a wildlife, nature and zoo photographer from the United Kingdom, currently residing in the West Midlands. Over the past few years, I have developed an increasing interest in photography, particularly that of wildlife and exotic species. That interest led me to create my Instagram page in 2021, which has been running as my primary platform since. Since then, I have amassed over 1,000 followers, a strong community, and a significant number of close friends. I prefer to keep my images as close to the natural appearance of the subject as possible, with the hopes that my photography will help inspire people to reconnect with and conserve the natural world.
My photography journey has taken me to a number of zoos across the country, as I seek to document an array of species with the limited access to international destinations, as well as raising awareness of the importance of zoos in modern society. I was also fortunate enough to visit Australia for a short stay in 2023, including two visits to Australia Zoo and various encounters with native wildlife.
The equipment I began my journey with was a Canon PowerShot SX260HS, generously gifted to me by a member of a Facebook group back in 2020. I upgraded to my first DSLR camera in 2023, and now operate using a Canon 90D, paired with a Sigma 150-600c. Photos with my new equipment debuted in July 2023.
