Now, who's behind the photos..?
I am Mac, and I have a strong passion for wildlife conservation, environmental protection and photography. In 2021, I decided to channel these interests into an Instagram page, where I share my photos to over 1000 followers! Alongside this, I love travelling, and therefore I try to explore with my camera as much as possible! So far, this has led me to explore countless British zoos, as well as trips to Australia and South Africa, and uncovering hidden local gems.
Outside of my photography and travel, I'm studying an Undergraduate degree in Zoology, a strong step in my goal to work in the zoo / wildlife conservation industry.
The equipment I use is a Canon 90D, paired with my telephoto Sigma 150-600mm lens. This is a huge upgrade from my first camera, a Canon PowerShot type, which was generously gifted to me in 2021.
When editing, I try my best to keep the look of the photo closest to realism as possible. I will NEVER manipulate a photo by adding or removing things, or using AI.
